Ayrshire Art Classes
After many years of running art workshops for North and East Ayrshire councils I decided to begin my own art school from my studio. One class a week became seven due to popularity and demand, however now after 18 years my artwork is demanding more of my time and I have had to reduce classes to four a week plus longer workshops every second Thursday.
Classes are small and friendly with no more than six students at a time. Many people come as beginners but there are also more experienced students so it is a good mix of abilities.

Weekly Class Timetable
Adult Classes:
Wednesdays 10 am - 12 pm & 2pm - 4pm
Price - £14 per class including most materials
Children's Classes:
8 - 12 years Saturdays 10:30 am - 12 pm & 1:30 - 3 pm
Price £12 per class including materials

Specialist Workshops 2024
The following selection of half day workshops in drawing painting and textiles are designed to be fun and informative and to encourage new confidence, understanding and enthusiasm. Art doesn't have to be scary!
Beginners, children age 12 and above (although sometimes younger - please see details of workshop) and the more experienced are welcome.
All materials and refreshments are included in the workshop price.
Tutor Alison Thomas is art school trained and has over 24 years experience in delivering art classes to children and adults.
