An original acrylic mixed media painting on canvas. Rabbie Burns’s cottage in Ayrshire has a 3D effect as it has been created using layers of card and fibres for texture.
If you look closely you can maybe make out some lines of poetry flowing out from the cottage. There is a mention to ‘Willy Wastle’s Wife’ which is my favourite Burns poem.
The painting comes in a handmade and hand painted wooden frame ready to hang. The frame size is 63 x 33 x 3 cm, the canvas size is 50 x 20 x 1.5 cm.
